Alicia Keys Joins Nanny Diaries
Alicia Keys Will join Scarlett Johansson in The Nanny Diaries for the Weinstein Co.
Based on the book by Nicola Kraus and Emma McLaughlin, the movie stars Johansson as a working-class woman from New Jersey who becomes a nanny to a wealthy Manhattan family. Keys will play Johansson’s best friend. Chris Evans, Laura Linney, Paul Giamatti and Donna Murphy also star. Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini will co-direct with shooting set to begin this month in New York.
Keys recently completed shooting on Smokin’ Aces for director Joe Carnahan. The movie also stars Ben Affleck, Jason Bateman, Don Cheadle and Peter Berg.
