Julia Roberts in Daniel Isn’t Talking
Julia Roberts is in negotiations to star in Daniel Isn’t Talking for Fox 2000.
Based on the novel by Marti Leimbach, the story follows a couple and their two children and how their family order is shattered when they discover their son is autistic. Stephen Chbosky (Rent) is adapting the novel for the big screen. Roberts previously starred in an adaptation of Leimbach’s novel Dying Young in 1991.
Roberts’ upcoming credits include voice work in Charlotte’s Web for Paramount and Ant Bully for Warner Bros. Her next starring role will be opposite Tom Hanks in Universal’s Charlie Wilson’s War.for director Mike Nichols.
