Anna Faris Is All Smiles

Anna Faris will star in the stoner-comedy Smiley Face.

In the movie, Faris will play a young actress and hopeless slacker who, after she inadvertently ingests her roommate’s pot-laced brownies, attempts to manage her day as it goes awry through a series of misadventures. John Krasinski, John Cho and Jane Lynch also star. Production begins later this week under the direction of Gregg Araki from a script by Dylan Haggerty.

Faris’ upcoming credits include Scary Movie 4 and My Super Ex-Girlfriend.
