Shia LaBeouf in Disturbia
Shia LaBeouf will star in Disturbia for DreamWorks.
In a bit of a twist on Alfred Hitchcock’s Rear Window, the movie stars LaBeouf as a troubled high school senior who, while sentenced to house arrest after an outburst of anger at school, becomes convinced that his neighbor is a serial killer. (For those of you who haven’t seen Rear Window, think the episode of The Simpsons where Bart became convinced Ned Flanders murdered Maude.) D.J. Caruso will direct with shooting currently scheduled to begin March 29th.
LaBeouf most recently starred in The Greatest Game Ever Played. His upcoming projects include A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints and the Emilio Estevez RFK drama Bobby.
