Vince Vaughn is Fred Claus

Based on a script by Dan Fogelman, the holiday comedy revolves around Santa’s black-sheep brother who heads back to the North Pole and gets a chance to redeem himself.
While negotiations are just beginning, Vaughn will likely earn $20 million for the project which will reunite him with Dobkin. The two previously worked together on Wedding Crashers and Clay Pigeons. Last week, Dobkin abruptly left the Adam Sandler/Kevin James comedy I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.
Vaughn next stars opposite Jennifer Aniston in Universal’s The Break Up.
