Jason Bateman Joins Wonder Emporium
Jason Bateman will star with Natalie Portman and Dustin Hoffman Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium for writer-director Zach Helm.
The movie revolves around a toy store owner who tries to lift the spirits of his depressed store manager by bequeathing her the shop. Bateman will play a precocious accountant hired to ascertain the establishment’s worth. Shooting begins next month.
Bateman’s upcoming film credits include The Break Up with Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn and Smokin’ Aces with Ben Affleck, Andy Garcia and Ryan Reynolds. He most recently starred in TV’s Arrested Development.
