Julia Ormond Joins Che
Proving that she hasn’t fallen off the face of the planet, Julia Ormond has been cast in Steven Soderbergh’s Che.
The movie stars Benicio Del Toro and follows the life of Latin American political revolutionary Che Guevera. Ormond will play a female reporter. The movie is currently filming in New York. Last week, Latino Review debuted photos of Del Toro in the title role.
In the mid-90s, Ormond starred in a few decent movie including Legends of the Fall with Brad Pitt, First Knight with Richard Gere and Sabrina with Harrison Ford. From there, she made only a handful of films. She recently completed filming on David Lynch’s Inland Empire.
