Theresa Russell Joins Spider-Man 3
Theresa Russell has joined the cast of Spider-Man 3.
In the movie, Russell will play the wife of Flint Marko aka the Sandman, to be played by Thomas Haden Church. Although plot details are being kept under tight wraps, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the Markos will be a “villainous couple” and they will have a daughter. The movie also stars Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, James Franco, Topher Grace and Bryce Dallas Howard who joined the cast last week in the role of Gwen Stacey. Shooting begins this month under the direction of Sam Raimi from a story he co-wrote with his brother Ivan.
Russell most recently appeared in HBO’s Empire Falls.
