New Joan Allen Movies
Writing articles like this one bother me. We’ve got a few new Joan Allen movies, but nothing really about them. It’s more like a “where are they now” piece than anything else.
First, Allen will star alongside Jessica Lange and Kathy Bates in road film Bonneville. Christopher Rowley will direct from a script by Daniel Davis.
Second, she’s also in talks to return as Pamela Landy in The Bourne Ultimatum. The third installment of the Matt Damon-spy thriller franchise is expected to go before cameras next year.
Third, Allen will star in The Good Sharma about a taxi driver who dreams of opening a school for girls in India. Suri Krishnamma will direct from a story written by Joanna Lancaster and Michael Singh.
See, what did we really learn there? Joan Allen’s got a few upcoming movies — that’s about it. I don’t even know sometimes why I even bother writing stories like that. Slow news day, I guess.
