Val Kilmer Joins Moscow Zero
With all the sequels and prequels and general crap out there, there’s pretty much only one sequel I wish Hollywood would make — and that’s the continuing story of Val Kilmer’s character, Chris Shiherlis, from Michael Mann’s Heat. Sure, Heat is pretty much untouchable on my personal top-10 movies of all time, but there’s just something about that character that I’d like to see more of — but only if Michael Mann wrote and directed it.
Kilmer will star in the psychological thriller Moscow Zero opposite Alicia Silverstone and Vincent Gallo.
In the movie, Kilmer will play the leader of a band of homeless people who dwell in the catacombs beneath Moscow. He has a former relationship with a fellow denizen (Silverstone). Gallo’s character goes to Kilmer’s chieftain for help in finding his friend, a fellow archaeologist.
Kilmer is currently on screen opposite Robert Downey Jr. in Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang.
