Renee Zellweger in The Eye
Renee Zellweger is attached to Paramount’s remake of the Japanese horror/thriller The Eye about a woman who sees more than she bargained for when she regains her vision after a cornea transplant.
Hideo Nakata will direct. His previous credits include the original Japanese Ringu movies, the American remake of The Ring Two and Dark Water with Jennifer Connelly. An early 2006 start date is planned for The Eye.
Zellweger made news yesterday signing for an upcoming Beatrix Potter biopic. Her upcoming projects also include lending her voice to the Jerry Seinfeld animated comedy Bee Movie for DreamWorks.
