Nicole Kidman Goes Headhunting
Nicole Kidman will star in the comedy Headhunters for Fox 2000 and Regency Enterprises.
Based on the novel by Jules Bass, the story follows four New Jersey women who jet to Monte Carlo and pretend to be rich heiresses in hopes of landing wealthy husbands. There, they are targeted by four down-on-their-luck gigolos trying to pass as wealthy playboys. Jez and John Henry Butterworth will write the screenplay.
Fox originally optioned the book in 1999. Earlier this summer, Fox optioned The Bachelorette Party by Karen McCullah Lutz, also a possible starring vehicle for Kidman. Kidman will serve as producer on both projects. She most recently wrapped the indie Fur about photographer Diane Arbus.
