Jim Carrey in The Number 23
The Number 23 is 1/3 of The Number 69. It’s also a new drama starring Jim Carrey. Being fans of both Jim Carrey and the 69 (and by association the number 23), we feel obligated to report this news.
In the movie, Carrey will play a man obsessed with a book he’s read that seems to be about his life. The problem is that the book ends with a murder. The number 23 figures prominently in the book’s plot. (No word on how the 69 figures into the plot…)
Joel Schumacher will direct for New Line Cinema from a script by Fernley Phillips. The film is scheduled to shoot in November.
Carrey just completed Fun With Dick and Jane for Sony. He’ll make The Number 23 before segueing into Used Guys with Ben Stiller and director Jay Roach.
