Jon Heder is a Mama’s Boy
How do you escpae the cult-like status of a character like Napoleon Dynamite? Well, you make more movies. A LOT more movies. That’s exactly what Jon Heder is doing, currently with six upcoming movies. SIX. His latest is the comedy Mama’s Boy for Warner Independent Pictures.
In the movie, Heder will play an arrogant pseudo-intellectual whose ideal life of living at home with his angelic mom in Texas is threatened when she falls in love with a self-help guru and prepares to marry him.
The movie, based on a script by Hank Nelken, will mark the feature directorial debut of Tim Hamilton. A February 2006 start is planned.
Heder is currently in theaters alongside Reese Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo in Just Like Heaven.
