Russell Crowe has A Good Year
Showing that no matter how badly you beat a hotel employee with a phone, you can still get work in Hollywood, Russell Crowe is in negotiations to star in A Good Year for director Ridley Scott.
In the movie, based on Peter Mayle’s novel of the same name, Crowe would play an investment banker who loses his job and moves to Provence to take over a failing vineyard owned by his just-deceased uncle. The move is complicated by the arrival of an unknown American cousin.
Scott is currently scouting locations in Provence and pre-production is expected to get underway shortly.
