Luke Wilson in ’Super Ex’
I rewatched The Royal Tenenbaums again a couple of weeks ago and I’ve got to say that the movie stands up. I just love it. News today that Richie Tenenbaum (Luke Wilson) is in negotiations to star in director Ivan Reitman’s Super Ex.
The movie, based on a script by Don Payne, tells to story of a man (Wilson) who finds out that the woman he recently broke up with is actually a superhero. Turns out she’s a bit too controlling and neurotic. (Aren’t they all?) Anyways, after the breakup, she decides to use her powers against him.
Wilson recently wrapped shooting on The Family Stone with Dermot Mulroney, Claire Danes, Sarah Jessica Parker and Rachel McAdams. He’ll next be seen in Fox’s as-yet-untitled Mike Judge Project.
