Julianne Moore in ’Children of Men’
According to Coming Soon!, Julianne Moore has been cast opposite Clive Owen in The Children of Men.
The movie, based on P.D. James’ novel of the same title, is set in a world where humans are unable to reproduce. When news comes of the death of the earth’s youngest person – at age 18 – the world is sent into chaos. Then, when the first woman in more than 20 years becomes pregnant, she becomes the most sought-after person in the world. Owen’s character is enlisted to protect her.
Alfonso Cuaron will direct for Universal Pictures with a planned release date of September 29, 2006.
