Drea de Matteo Joins ’Walker’
Drea de Matteo, KaDee Strickland, Sam Shepard and Bruce Dern have siged to star opposite Jason Patric in writer-director Matt Williams’ Walker.
The movie, set in 1957, concerns a small-town charmer (Patric) who is forced to make difficult decisions in his fight to save his two daughters. De Matteo will play his ex-wife. Strickland plays Patric’s love interest, Dern his surrogate father and Shepard an opportunistic hustler.
Principal photography on the indie production begins next week. Williams co-wrote the script with Alex Paraskevas.
