Chi McBride ’Going to Prison’
Chi McBride will join Dax Shepard and Will Arnett in the long-in-development You Are Going to Prison.
The movie tells the story of a career criminal and an entitled rich guy stuck together in a maximum-security prison cell. McBride will portray a powerful and musically talented inmate.
Shooting on the project is scheduled to begin later this month at Joliet Prison near Chicago. Bob Odenkirk will direct from a script by Robert Ben Garant, Thomas Lennon and Michael Patrick Jann.
McBride is best known as the principal on TV’s Boston Public. His upcoming film projects include Roll Bounce, Waiting and Annapolis.
