Fonda Joining ’Ghost Rider’
The original Ghost Rider, Peter Fonda is in negotiations to join Nicolas Cage in the upcoming Ghost Rider adaptation for Columbia Pictures. (Okay, he’s not the original, but he starred in a ’little’ movie with motorcycles titled Easy Rider! And some would argue that the guy looks like a ghost…)
In addition to the possible Fonda casting comes news that Donal Logue has joined the cast.
Based on a Marvel Comics property, “Ghost Rider” is an action-adventure about Johnny Blaze (Cage), a stunt motorcyclist who saves the world from evil spirits that cross over from beyond. Fonda will play the role of Mephistopheles, and Logue will play Mack, Johnny’s chief mechanic and best friend who soups up Johnny’s motorcycles for his stunts.
