Sean Hood Writing ’The Breathtaker’Sean Hood has been brought on board to write “The Breathtaker”, a horror thriller that John Wells is producing.

The project is based on Alice Blanchard’s novel, which was published in November. It follows a small-town police chief’s pursuit of a serial killer who strikes only during tornadoes, brutally killing his victims in the eye of the storm. Sheldon Turner (”The Longest Yard”) wrote the initial draft.

Hood recently wrote “The Watcher” at Summit Entertainment as well as “The Dorm” for Paramount and MTV Films. He also worked on “Halloween: Resurrection”, “The Crow: Wicked Prayer” and “Cursed”.

  2. I think this film is not in development anymore, but see if you can get an update. I loved the book. It’d make a great movie. TWISTER meets SILENCE OF THE LAMBS.
